Allied Health Professionals Education Grant

About Us: The New Mexico Heart Institute Foundation (NMHIF) continues its work to improve heart health for all New Mexicans through education, health promotion, and research. It supports Albuquerque and the state by educating health care providers, patients, and the public.

About Our Grant: The New Mexico Heart Institute Foundation is proud to provide support for the superb quality of care provided by allied health professionals at the Heart Hospital of New Mexico at Lovelace Medical Center, the New Mexico Heart Institute, and the Lovelace Medical Center. In order to deepen expertise and understanding amongst staff, the New Mexico Heart Institute Foundation will be awarding grants for new and continuing education in cardiology related topics of up to $1,000 per individual.

Eligibility: Allied health professionals currently employed in the Lovelace Health System in New Mexico without other available CME resources are eligible to apply for assistance with costs associated for new and continuing education. Grants will be awarded for education related to cardiovascular topics.
